Signs and changes / Columbia Pike August 2016

Columbia Pike continues to change constantly. Since we published our book Living Diversity, the community continues to transform itself. People, places, and businesses have come and gone.

Here is a sample of some of the changes that have occurred over the past year. The Freedman's Village Bridge was finished and dedicated, the Shell and Pike 3400 apartments were completed, Glencarlyn Park was greatly improved, and numerous businesses of every type and description have opened or changed their signs.

It's still a pretty lively place.
